Hopefully this is the right forum to answer this.
I have a sbs Boito or Botto 12 gauge made in Brazil. One barrel has 3 stars the other 4 stars punched into the bottom side of the barrels. What does that mean?

The chokes.
I forget what the stars mean but they are for the choke of the barrel.
My book gunmarks is at my friends gun shop.
If your in the Corona CA area he can let you read it.

Stars are used by the Italian shotgun makers.

3 stars = Modified
4 stars = Improved Cylinder
