Droptine, I've been wondering the same thing. I agree that Blackhorn is the way to go here, but I'm curious if firing a primer or 2, or even 3 before storage or at least before taking the gun out hunting might even things out inside the barrel? Anyone do this? I haven't got out to try it yet but I will the next few times I shoot to see if it works any.
In other words, clean the gun and store it as you normally would. When you take it out to hunt/shoot, run a dry patch to clean out the bore butter fire a few primers and swab with a dry patch. Then load and shoot. What do you guys think? Will this help?
