It has been my opinion that we were screwed no matter who won although it may have taken longer under mccain for it to be visible and no doubt under obama we will see it in the first 100 days he is in office just ask biden... It has also been my opinion that if elected he will never take office as gw will declare martial law before ob can get in and thus King George...

usually you are a very reasonable guy; and i know emotions are running pretty high right now- so i aint going to take that personal. answer me this....other than waiting to see how things develop, what the hell else are you going to do? give yourself an ulcer? really. what are you going to do that is going to make a difference? i will tell you what you are going to do... you are going to have to take what comes, because you aint in anymore of a position than i am to do anything about it.
my point was and is, he is president elect whether you like it or not. keep an eye on him, but he is going to get his chance. if you believe in our system, you will give him an honest chance.

There's good reason to be full of gloom & doom. The guy is at least a F-ing socialist, and maybe worse yet a Muslim is Christian clothing.... And the American people just gave him full licence to screw us over with a ram-rod left wing Senate & Congress.

Buy as much ammo and new guns as you can afford now. Becasue as he said, he won't take your gun... no, he will just work to bankrupt the gun & ammo industry. This can be done with taxes and regulation-to-death, Therefor, no more guns by default. Think about what he said of the coal industry. He will shut it down by bankrupting it. He's going to do the same with the entire gun & ammo industry.

Guys you just don't get it do you? The system is BROKEN. The country did not just elect a socialist. It just elected a black supremist and a muzlim. The repercussions of that will very soon become apparent. If he is not stopped before taking the office he just illegally took then only GOD can help us but I fear that since this nation has turned it's back on HIM that HE now has turned HIS back on this nation.

You work hard by calling, writing, and emailing your congressmen and senators constantly. Tell them what you want, how you feel. Be positive, give reasons. On the other side of the coin, do like the dems have done, blame Obama on everything that goes wrong by calling, writing, emailing, not only your congressmen and senators, but also, the local news media and the national news media. The squeaking wheel gets the grease. The left has squeeked so long, they finally got what they wanted. The right must start doing the same. Just talking to friends, relatives, and co-workers won't get the job done. Type a form letter, make copies, get as many as possible to sign one individually. Then mail them all in to your congressmen and senators, and others. Individually signed letters gets their attention. I'm going to put aside money to do this as often as I can the next 4 years. Write letters to editors of local papers. Flood them with letters. This is the only peaceful way to turn it around.

Now the libs can find out with their "turn in the barrel"..those that turned to such outright HATE since 2000 will have a chance to savor what it is like having folks with nothing better to do than to take potshots.
I will personally watch and wait..but I don't expect much. The stock market plunged..as expected, since the world was waiting to see how our election came out. With a McCain victory it would not have jumped up, but it also would not have dropped.
From now on as far as I am concerned, I will be much more diligent in avoiding doing business with left leaning companies (e.g. Cooper arms)...or any other cvompany that sucks up to libs or Dems. I will consider liberals and any others who supported the Marxist, not as the opposition, but rather as the enemy..since by their vote they have tried to destroy America.
Still; I can wait and watch for hopeful signs such as:
1. The Dems repeal Roe v Wade.
2. The Dems reiterate the 2nd amendment as untouchable.
3. The Dems institute "workfare" in place of welfare.
4. The Dems reduce everybody's taxes and/or replace current mess with a "flat tax".
5. The Dems insist on smaller government.
6. The Dems by law, protect the sanctity of man/woman marriage.
7. The Dems tell the ACLU to butt out of Christian's rights.
8. The Dems withdraw funding and tax breaks from ACLU, ACORN and all such partisan organizations.
9. The Dems should abandon plans to curtail free speech with the "(un)fairness doctrine".
10. The Dems condemn union efforts to destroy the sanctity of voting in secret, according to one's conscience.
I especially said "the Dems", because all these things are within their power to change. They could easily get all these things accomplished and they would have much help from Reps in so doing.
If they do these things, I will start to give them credit. How are the chances I can start to view them as reasonable ?

I get it. It is not that I do not like the thought of a black man in office. I would have loved to see Colin Powell running, he seems to be a man of integrity and principal. It is all that he stood for up for and said up to a year ago. He stopped his association with Rev Wright. After 20 years of association and said he did not know Rev Wright was a hate monger. Rev Wright is not a Christan leader in the traditional sense, he spewed hate of white people, of our government, our country. What happened to love thy neighbor? Makes me wonder if he is really a Christian or went to that "church" to perpetuate the hate. He stopped seeing a supreme radical - Aires (whom he must have shared the same thoughts). Then when he was in Jerusalem he makes the statement that it belongs to the Palestinians. It sounds like he leans toward the Muslim faith to me. Oh, he quickly changes tune when he gets questioned about it and the press covered it up. The examples go on and on. He has suddenly changed his beliefs and actions to get elected, telling people what they want to hear. The devil has a silver tongue too. I do not think that Obama is the devil, but he has the same tactics, tell you what you want to hear, then do the deed to you after you can not do anything about it. Some one who changes that much can not be trusted. Oh he will not do it in one fell swoop. He will suck in people little by little lulling them to sleep. Put restrictions on companies until they fold or charge very high prices for their goods and services, no one can afford it. Or taxing them out of business. Those people who elected him will wake up some day and realize what happened, but it will be too late, the deed will have been done. He really does not care how much energy will cost, the more the better as far as he is concerned. He has appealed to your sense of right and change and wrapped it up in a neat little package. Once he is in office all bets are off. I do not trust him, period. I truly hope he is not assassinated, all that would do is make him a martyr and perpetuate his twisted beliefs. He needs to be office so people can really see what he is about. I just hope we can hang on long enough to sweep him out of office and get some one that will truly fix our problems, with out compromising our freedoms, strong values, basic capitalism and our standing in the world.

Sure is funny though, how in 2000 the Dems fought AFTER the election over a few "hanging chads", yet the Reps today are saying NOTHING about a couple hundred thousand completely illegal registered voters. If some third party wants to do something..this is the perfect opportunity to strike..but they must ACT NOW !!

Many Reps are ready to turn their backs on the "country club" set..and get more in line with the Sarah Palin/Ron Paul types. If that were to succeed, the libertarians would be a good choice to try...but if so the Libertarians would need to accept the Evangelicals and the Evangelicals be willing to overlook some Libertarian notions they don't like.
Beyond that..only hope is a coalition between the disparate conservative leaning groups..
