With the election over and lost, I would like to say thank you to everyone here, and to many who are no longer here, for the entertainment and information I have received read over the years. I fully expect this and all other gun, hunting, and outdoor forums to be labeled "hate speech" and " terroristic" soon and shut down by the PC socialists that took this country yesterday. It is going to get really ugly in this country quickly , and before we all get "401 error Page not found" where this site used to be, I just want to say thank you for the experience. It was fun....

The "fairness doctrine" has to do with the media being controlled by the Gov.. The main hit will be talk radio. Any show like Rush for example must have an equal time voice from the other side, a total revision & lossof the first Amend. The Socialist Demoncraps did not get the vote a few years ago when this was introduced, they will now.

I was greatly saddened to see America at a (crossroad) and that the immoral path was chosen. There is not much that can be done about this and it was almost (IMO) prophesied.
If you agree with this, you know that things will get worse, much worse. The only recourse that one has is to pull in tighter with one's church as the way of the World will not be the way of the Lord.

I see old Chuckie Schumer is already talking about the Fairness Doctrine, comparing conservative opinions to porn that needs to be regulated.

I don't think this site is going anywhere.This is a good site with many topics other than hunting and shooting. GBO offers something for almost everyone that can read and think.It would a waste of time for them to shut it down just because of the content here.

Thanks for the info nomsendero. I listen to a lot of talk (mostly shortwave) and I have heard the term but, never researched it. I'll check it out.
