I was looking into buying a mossberg .270 and i just wanted to get some feedback about it.

My son has one and it's very accurate. The plastic trigger guard broke the first time out. I replaced it with a metal trigger guard off a 700ADL. If you can't afford a Remington Model 700, I'd buy the new Marlin personally.
