« on: November 05, 2008, 03:04:36 PM »
Have the Lee double cavity mould for swc design 200gr .45 auto. They cast just fine and load fine in my RCBS dies. Question is do I have to run the bullets through a resizer? They mike out at .452. I'm loadin 7grs Unique(Lyman Manual).

Not neccessary to size, as such.

It is necessary to lube.  Lubing is commonly done in a lubracator/sizer machine in which the size die directs a waxy lube into the grooves as the bullet is being sized.

Alternately, lubing can be done with Lee's Liquid Alox lubracant.  You can apply it in a pan, or even a plastic bag.  Just coat the bullets and let them dry before loading.
Common sense is an uncommon virtue

Forgot that, will pull and lube tomorrow after getting the lube. Thanks for reminding me. Think I am going to reduce my load to 6.0 Unique and work my way up to what I want. I don't want a hot rod, just accurate and reliable.
