Had  a friend with one but it was a 40 Flint, from dixie gun works. Good shooters  I would try 70 grains of 3f and  apatched 440RB. They are handi in the woods

Actually the Cub was built from a  kit in about 1988. Its 33 1/2" long, 20" long, 3/4" octagonal barrel and weighs 4 1/2 lbs. Its simply the sweetest little stalking rifle I have, although my CVA Bobcat was nice also. My shoots round balls and Maxi-Balls equally well, about 2 1/4" group at 50 yards. It took a running deer already at 70 yards.
