Here's an idea for Ruger. Well, we all know that there's many folks trying to get one of the Stainless Super Blackhawk Hunter 44mag models with the integral scope bases machined into the top of the barrel. Kind of neat having a single action already setup to accept scope rings, so you could thumb the scope off and use iron sights for finishing game hiding in thick brush. Okay, so here's my suggestion. I would like for them to do the same thing to the Stainless Super Single Six 22 convertible. Make a Hunter version of the 22 Super Single Six. It would allow you to go back to iron sights very quickly, if so desired. Also, you wouldn't have to take off your rear sight and replace it with an aftermarket base to put on a scope. If they did this, it would be great to have both a 44mag Hunter, and a 22lr/22mag Hunter.
What about Ruger making a .480 Ruger or .454 Casull carbine similar to their 44mag carbine. It would make one fine brush busting machine. Kind of off the Ruger topic, but I'd also be very interested if either Marlin or Winchester were to make a lever action chambered in either .480 or .454. Just some ideas!
