If a 357 mag barrel is reamed to 357 max, can it take the pressure?

I know the 357 max SAMMI pressure is considerably(37%) higher than 357 mag.  Any pressure problems with reaming the 357 mag barrel to 357 max?

No problems with the barrel itself, but it would be if the barrel is on an SB1 frame, that wouldn't be advisable.

The SAAMI difference is only 5000 psi (piezo). More like 14%.........not enough difference to worry about (if you handload, you can make it anything you want).

Just for info:

The Harrington and Richardson Handi-Gun II, Mod 258 rifle/shotgun combo, serial 452xxx, 1982-1986 was factory chambered and proof stamped by the factory in .357 Max.
 These were all ductile iron frames and worked very well.

If that's the case, I stand corrected.  The info I got off another website:

357 Magnum = 35000 PSI
357 Maximum = 48000 PSI
357 SIG = 45000 PSI
357 Herret = 35000 PSI
357 Auto Magnum = 37000 PSI
