Surplus 7MM Mauser Rifles

Anyone have a line on a good source for shootable Mausers in 7MM. I just came into a bunch of ammo and need something to shoot it with....

No, I don't, but in your searching, I'd suggest you try to get a German made '93 or '95 Mauser ( or, better yet, a '98, if possible ) and try to avoid the Spanish made versions of the same models. I've often read that some of the Spanish made had recievers made of poorer quality, and/or poorer heat-treating. Some searching at Pawn Shops, Gun Shows, etc. should turn up a candidate for you, hopefully!

I have a Spanish and a Chilean 7x57 Mauser and both are fine sturdy rifles.
one has a 2 digit serial number so it is definately one of the first made.
They made them well from the very beginning.
