New Scope On .357 Handi
« on: November 10, 2008, 05:09:39 PM »
I finally got my new Leupold 2x7x33 Rifleman mounted on the .357 Handi. I sighted it in the other day but didn't get to finish because i ran out of daylight. The scope works really nice, I was able to continue shooting it as it was getting dark where I would have had to stop with the open sights.

I was using American Eagle 158 Grain JSP to sight it in. It was getting dark so I didn't have time to dial it into the bullseye but I wanted to see how it grouped 3 shots before I left. I ended up getting 2 shots almost touching with a 3rd flyer which brought the group out to 2 inches at 70 yards. This was with a warm dirty barrel from sighting it in. I will try to get a better range report when I go back to finish sighting it in.

Very nice set-up. Those do not look like pallet wood stocks. BC stock and fore end?

Yes, those are BC stock and forend that I bought from another forum member here. This is the only Handi I own but I absolutely love it. I also have a 28 gauge barrel that goes with this frame.

I do have other NEF products:

20 Gauge Pardner with screw in choke
.22 LR Sportster with Williams FP peeps sights
.22LR/.410 Versa Pack for the kids
