One buck yesterday afternoon and another one first thing this morning....Yes!!!...Life just can't get any better around here. Neither of the bucks was anything to brag about(I guess what you'd call management deer)...I call'm freezer fillers...good eating. The old Encore, 105gr 777, and the 195gr Precision Rifle's Dead Center Duplex bullet did the tridk once more. Bullet performance was great. The first one was quartering away at about 65 yards...took a hit just behind the front left shoulder...bang-flop. The second one took a head on chest hit right at the base of the neck and ran about 40 yards and it was over. I don't think my .375Win could have done any better. Hmmmm...I can smell that back-strap on the grill now.
