Making 38 special brass out of 357. Can it be done?

Is it possible to make 38spl brass out of 357? Charlie

Sure it is, but why?

 I mean its readily avalible and not expensive.  (I have a TON.)

My only thought would be the head stamp....  Not huge as we all know 38's pose no problem to a 357 mag. But not the otherway around.

 Shoot me a PM if you want some 38's.  ;D

Last time I bought .38 brass, it was $5 for a pack of 100 once fired, you can get a 1000 pack for probably $30. 

Trimming a 100 .357 mag cases down is a lot more than $5 worth of work.
