Thursday I was mainly goofing around, just sitting watching some deer feeders to see what might show up (nothing

Really hoped some hogs might show up. Not yet deer gun season, but would like to have shot some hogs.
My son leaves his Bushmaster Varminter with me, so I was carrying it.
As I walked down to visually check the feeders, I saw something dark colored moving and thought it was some hogs. When I put the glass on them realized it was some turkeys.
Although I was not even thinking about hunting turkeys, I though "Why not?"
Got a nice one. Did not weigh it but it had a 12 inch beard. Stepped off 250 steps, so I was pleased with my shot.
Anyone else doing any Oklahoma turkey hunting?
