bellbottom blues

the area I'm hunting only has good trees to climb growing out of a creek bottom, and they are super wide at the bottom.  By the time I barely started climbing I had run out of back bar in a hurry.
so I took an eight foot ladder and strapped it to the tree and started out at the 10 ft level.  worked out perfect, got big bites climbing up, hardly any taper and I was able to get up nice and high and still have a good comfortable angle.

I had a great weekend, had a little forkhorn dead to rights but let him walk.  very cold saturday night but a beautiful couple days.

Please wear your safety harnesses when climbing.
Though taken from established manufacturers' sources and presumed to be safe please do not use any load that I have posted. Please reference Hogdon, Lyman, Speer and others as a source of data for your own use.
