Ruger makes a good "working gun."  IMO they are a good value.

The mind is left boggling at what makes Ruger more of a "working gun" than other manufacturers.

I find it a shame that ruger has dropped their beautifully done semi polished stainless finish and instead they now do what Remington and Winchester  does and calls a fresh bead blast a "finish"

They do what they are supposed to.  They are much better than most other brands.  They aren't as good as a Remington.
