NEF .22 help, THANKS
« on: November 16, 2008, 01:18:46 PM »
Hey, I got a link to this forum from rimfirecentral. Just wanted to say THANKS  ;D to all here. I was wanting to work on a BAD trigger on my NEF .22. I followed the pictorial steps on this site, and got it shooting much better after honing the trigger group. My groups got 50% tighter after the work. I did manage to lose my barrel latch spring in the process, and also found (on this site) the place to get these as well. THANKS!

I have this site bookmarked now on my favorites.

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I sure have enjoyed the help already received here! I ordered some springs for my latch assist, from Mcmaster Carr on Sunday, online, and I got these suckers today! Man, that is fast. I cut my first spring to length, installed, and voila! It locks up super, no problems on open or close. Well, I guess maybe one problem...now that I have 5 extra springs, I'll have to buy 5 more rifles to use them on!  ;D
