I got this 13 point Missouri buck last week with one shot from my trusty 30-06.  The distance was 220 yards.

The ones you're proud of are the best ones. I shot a button buck the night before because I wanted the meat & he was the only one that presented a shot.  I intended to take a doe, but when I walked up on a nice buck... heck, I even got a bit of buck fever again.  ;D  I'm still thrilled over it.

After a few years of meat hunting I finally got a chance to hunt some where that would let me shoot for antlers.  Here is the results.  Remington model 700, .270 at about 90 yards.  Shooting from the ground.

 Holy Crap, those are some nice deer. Mine is an smaller 8 point in southern indiana. Taken at 65 yards with an H&R Ultra Slug 20. My first antlers in several years. I was tickled. :)

little 10 pt @ just under 300 yards, little bitty does at 150 yards.  small, but meat in the freezer anyway.  all from hall county, tx.  all taken with .30-06 weatherby vanguard, and 165 grn sierra prohunters, the old federal classic.  been on this box for 3 years.
