I have one on order, got the cheapest version of the tool. My bore is tighter than most .220, so I'm getting a custom made die. He recomended that I get the die .221 on oneside and .222 on the other side.
I think its like a four to six wk. waiting period for the tool because of such high demand. I read a thread on this. Guy that had the tool and the results were such that he had ammo that was grouping 1-1/2 in. at 50 yd. when ran through the tool they grouped 1/2 inch. Cost for the tool I ordered was $37.00 shipping included. He had other style tools that were in the $40-$50 range that did various things to the bullet nose. I just got the plain jane nasti nose and sizer.

When ever you get your tool I'd be very interested to see how it performs for you. It sounds like a good deal to me. I expect I'll have one one the way before too long.

I'm suprised more people haven't shown interest in this post. I figuerd it would be a hot item. It sure peaked my attention.

I am curious as to how you ordered yours? I did not see any links to purchase or contact.
Thanks

Curdean, You must order by mail with a check or money order. On the site there is a place to print out your order form. All instructions are on the site as how to order. You may send a bullet pressed through your bore if you don't feel you can measure it properly. As soon as I get a chance to test the tool I'll let you guys know if its useful or not.

Paco has always been a thorough researcher, I have done a lot of reading for sub-sonic data, and his name always pops up.  I really enjoyed that article, but couldn't find the pics that they said were on the left.  I was pleased to hear him mention how much he likes the C.B. ammo, which I am also very fond of, and that he had good results with it.  Now it it would really be something if he designs a bullet similar to the C.B. ,but with heavy bullets and using the 'nasty nose'.  He could call it the 'Paco Small Game Urban Whisper".  I am looking forward to reading your product review when you get it.  Do you have a picture of the bullet shape?  A close-up of the nose shape?
....make it count

All my 22's are semi-autos, do the rounds feed reliably after using the tool on them? That's my big concern. Otherwise I'm very interested in buying one.

Yes.. I've been reading about it there also.  I got the order form filled out and am just waiting to slug my barrel.  Like anything else the more input the better.

I've got one and have had it for a few months. Sad to say though, I've only played with it once on a prairie dog hunt. I used the NastiNose Ram to reshape some dynapoints and they got a bigger "whack" factor. The rounds worked in both my Remington 597 and my son's Lakefield Mark II bolt repeater. Accuracy was still MOPD. I didn't try em on paper.

I still need to play around with the setup some more, but alway seem to have a new scope or something else to dink around with my range time.

Bob, I have seen some semiautos take blunt pointed bullets and some will not. So I really don't have and answer for you right now but I do have a 10/22 and they seem to take most anything.

I have some ammo altered by the tool and I plan to test today-8-27-03. I've not been shooting worth crap lately. Maybe this tool will give me the boost I need. Will let you guys know how well it performs A.S.A.P.

Ok I just came back from the rifle range and here are the results. I was shooting cci standard velociety at fifty yards. Groups were not that good, running about one inch for five shot groups. So I had some poco kelly acu'rzr loads prepared. Groups with the acu'rzr were around one and one half inch at 50yd. In short, they sucked and so does the tool from what I can tell. One thing I don't need is my ammo going from bad to worse. I see no aid to accuracy, here. Save your money and by ammo that doesn't need restructuring. I guess in all fairness I need to test it on a couple of other rimfire ammo before I write the thing off as not useful.

I just ran about 100 rounds in the tool and plan to take them to South Dakota this weekend.  I don't know much testing that will get done, as the PDs are somewhat older and wiser this time of the year.

50 are of various types with the NastiNose and 50 of various types tooled with the accurizer.  Plus I am taking it with me to play with if the Prairie Dog shooting gets a bit slow.

More tests with the Acu'rzr

Sized some cci mini mags with tool. Not bothering to change the shape of the nose. First I started with unaltered ammo and groups were good staying in the mostly High .2's to the mid and upper .3;s at 50 yds. Did four groups of five shots then I pulled out the sized ammo. I done about a .350 or so. It wasn't a bad group but it faired no better than the unaltered ammo. So hmmmmm. Atleast better than my last report.
