Very good powder! Don't have any experience with it in the 7 mag though.

I've just started to use some of their faster burning powders ( N133 & N135 ) for the 222 , 223 size rounds , from what I have seen so far I think its going to work out very well .

Its a little pricier than the Hodgdons powders in this area , but not enough to say its too much to make a difference .

I've used several Vihta Vuori powders.  They work fine but are, in my opinion, not worth the expense in loading for the majority of cartridges.

My powder for the 7mm is RL-22 which works well at a better price.

I have used N133 in 223 and it does very well. I have not tried any other VV powder. The N133 is starting to make some inroads in the bench rest crowd due to it's consistency from one lot to the next and good accuracy, mostly in the 6mm PPC. I have no experience with their powders with the exception of the N133 in my 223's using lighter bullets, mostly 50 grain. Their powders are showing up more and more in loading manuals.

I load N130, N133, and N135 for my competition handguns.  I have to trickle each load with my Lyman as the extrusions are large enough to hang up in several of my other powder measures.  It may cost a little more, but per my experience with lot to lot, there is little variation.  My loads have not changed for several years.  I am also using less powder and obtaining higher velocity than powders with similar burning rate.

VV powders may give you a little more velocity in your 7mm, but you will need to trickle the exact weight of each load to reap the benefit of more velocity and accuracy.

Steve - I threw mine short and then trickled it in. That is with N133 for one of my 223's. I have got to the point I do that for every thing; even H110 or W296. I do not shoot large quantities of any thing, so it is not that big of deal to me. I have gotten a RCBS 1500 Charge Master, but have not really gotten to use it for my 223s yet. I had a stash built up, but I am getting a bunch more ready to reload. I will be curious how N133 meters out.

I tried dumping with my dillon and got +/- .2 grains with the N133.  I then went to my Lyman #55 to dump powder and a redding trickler to dump them on a dillon digital scale.  Worked, but was slow.  Now I use a Lyman Electric Powder dispenser.  Dumps most of the load and trickles the last .5 grain to come out about perfect.  If I get about 10 cases with powder in them and then start to use the dispenser in rythm with my 550, I can load about 100 trickled loads in an hour.  This is a little better than one every 1-2 minutes.

Accuracy is right there if I can just hold the gun still...........

I use that very powder in my 7mm Mag with exceptional results.  I am shooting Barnes X 140 grn coated bullets (blue) and pushing them hard.  My gun is a Savage 110 with a Weaver 2-10x scope and with this load will shoot clover leafs or better at 100 yards.  Also important to note, is that i find the recoil to be rather manageable for this light of gun.  Yes sir, this is an excellent powder.

I also use their N133 in my 45/70 and 3n37 in my 40 S&W and 9mm Luger with great results.

It is a bit more pricey, but I find it very worth it.
