Drop in trigger for M77 MII

I just picked up my new 280 and want to either change the trigger or have it worked on.  Having an adjustable trigger appeals to me more.  Here is the question..
How difficult is it to install a Timmney trigger myself?  Does it take any filing, stoning etc?  Does it come with instructions?

Timneys are not that difficult.  I've actually installed the springs and the sear wioth the factory trigger and get a nice, crisp pull.

The factory trigger is easy to fix.  You just have to file the sear so that it doesn't compress the spring when you pull the trigger.  In other words, they need to be at a 90 degree angle to each other.  It will then fire at about 2.5 pounds

i have a timney in my m77 25-06 love it crisp and clean. didnt take much of anything to install it. have adjustables in a savage it's ok i prefer the timney or if a good two stage would be nice like what is in my rockriver.

I have three Ruger MK2's and a Hawkeye, and I put Rifle Basix triggers in all of them. Easy drop in installation, less expensive than Timney, full adjustable and crisp as glass.

I was looking at the Rifle Basix website earlier and from my understanding they don't offer a trigger for the Hawkeye yet. Am I just missing it?
