Remington 40X Ti Hunter Rifle

I am new to the formum. I read an article about a Remington 40X Ti Hunter rifle. I do not remember the magazine but it was summer 2008.
Receiver was marked 40-x and had a special fluted barrel. 
The Remington Custom Shop web page does not list this rifle. Does anyone know if the Remington Custom Shop offers this rifle?

Any information will be appreciated.

They make a Model 700 Ti but I have not previously heard of the 40-X Ti. It might be that's what they had but were confused about it or maybe it's just a little known but available choice.

Thanks. I was in Iraq and was not able to bring the magazine home. Was thinking someone had read the same article.

There have been a few of them built.  At this point, I don't think it's been added as a standard Custom Shop item.  I know they exist as I held one last week.  If you have questions, call the custom shop directly 315-895-3288.  They don't always answer the phone, but they're pretty good about returning calls.

I received a call from the Remington Custom Shop that the 40-x Ti Hunter was slated to be available in 2008. The rifle had problems and probaly will not make production during 2009.
