i did it again

i bought a new .223 ultra varmint.

i had one a few years ago (just a handi-rifle in .223) and like a 'dummy' i sold it...(needed $$$$$ at the time)

my wife told me to select a new rifle for CHRISTmas this year.

the local gunshoppe had the NEF ultra varmint in a package deal that included the BSA sweet 223 scope and a harris bipod all sitting in their synthetic stocks; it was too much for me to bear so i selected it. i always regretted selling the old one. it was a 'tack driver'

kinda off topic but i appreciate how you made sure you put the CHRIST in CHRISTmas. wish others in the world would do the same.

thanks guys...i certainly hope to give a range report soon (gotta wait 15 days to pick up here in california  >:()

i always regretted getting rid of my other handi...it was a pleasure to shoot and would hold groups of nickel and quarter size at 100 yards with  no problem even using factory ammo. i guess i was lucky as i did nothing to the rifle...it was standard.

i'll be "tickled pink" if this one performs as well.
