Mine is a 1956RC with microgroove barrel and it shoots fine and feeds all of them in the tube with out fail. And the ammo knocks down deer quite well
. The mulie doe I got with it was as heavy as the 4x4 mulie buck I got the day before. All I could do to get her in the bed of my truck by myself, had to drag her in, couldn't lift her in. All the deer I got this year are in the best shape and fatter than I have seen in the last 20 years, big gobs of fat inside by the tenderloins as well as all over the rest of the body. Even the buck had lots of fat inside after chasing the girls around during rut. DP
