I shot this guy 10 minutes untill dark saturday evening.
I had been watching a bunch of does grase on the wheat and he snuck I on me.
Looked like 200yd to me. I'll range it out and get better pics later.

Nice buck partsman what did it weigh?did u shoot him with your new 270?i seen a nice 10 point past on him just hope i dont regreat it. shot a big fat 100 doe saturday evening still on the look out for a buck.

Yes my 270 finnally has a kill. One for one on deer! Plain Ol 700 ADL shooting plain ol Winchester graybox soft points 130g.
He was 165# dressed. My biggest deer ever! Right now he is deboned and packed in ice waiting to be cut up and put in the freezer. Going to strip and bleach the skull for display.
