i see that a ruger #1 RSI international in 7X57 sold on gunbroker for $1,525.00. auction # 116218851. guess i'll have to find something else to hunt with. damn shame when your rifle becomes worth to much to hunt with.
Its not worth that much by far, just someone not smart enough to buy one at a reasonable price. The starting price of $850.00 was fair, people just kept bidding and someone got stuck with a rifle that's $395 over retail price. Actually is kind of funny.
Suggested Retail Price: $ 1130.00
http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdResults?function=famid&famid=42&variation=International&bct=Yes&type=RifleI own many Ruger firearms, pistols and rifles. I just got off of the phone with Ruger, and I'm angry...
I just cancelled the purchase of a Ruger shotgun...
I will divest myself, of all the Rugers that I own. I will never buy a Ruger firearm again. I don't like their attitude toward their customers, with well founded complaints.
Like Chrysler automobiles, I will knock them at every opportunity, about their don't care attitude, toward their customers...
Bill
Lurker, You need to elaborate a little more, just exactly what was it that they didn't do right or do wrong?
All Customer Service folks respond naturally on how they are being spoken too, can't blame them, just being human. I have never had any problems with Ruger Customer Service and I am sure I never will.
