I am looking to get back into precision marksmanship after a short leave. I would like to shoot a few 600 yd matches, then go to the 1000 yd distance. Here are my questions, first
Do any of y'all know where close to Hickory, NC I can go to do the 600 yds. There is a 1K range in Wilkes Co.( Hawk's Ridge, or Hawk's Nest).
I have a desire to buy a 7mm RUM. Will this do good at these events. I'm not looking for gold medal, just a good accurate "factory" round. I do reload so I can dial in a load. I am open to all suggestions, but if you have one have a good reason and data to back it up.
Also if any of you guys shoot any where close give me a yell, maybe I can come burn some powder with you. Thanks, Chad
