H&R Pardner 12Ga. Turkey 3 1/2"

 I bought a H&R Pardner 12Ga. Turkey 3 1/2" (SBI-F10) yesterday and plan on shooting Winchester 3 1/2 "
# 6 shot 2 1/4 oz for Spring turkey (and Fall). I was just wondering what aftermarket choke tube you guys are using with this gun, I know it takes a Winchoke/Browning Invector type but what brand tube and which is best  XX or XXX Full .  Thanks, Tony

If you have the factory X-full choke I'd give that a shot first.
Mine patterned the Remington Nitro 3 1/2" #5 shot and Remington  Nitro 3" #5 shot extremely well with the factory choke. I ended up using the 3" version on this turkey. His head was jelly after i hit him.

Thanks for the advice ,I"ll give it a try and see how it does and try some Remington # 5 shot as well. I had a 10 Ga. Pardner and the choke it came with didn't work so well ...was thinking this would be the same.  ;D

  I also shoot the remington nitro turkey loads out of my SB10 with the xtrafull choke it comes with.  I tried both the 3.5 and the 3 .  The 3 patterned a little  better and kicked a whole lot less.

In my case the 3 1/2" Remingon Nitro patterned better than the 3" but there wasn't enough difference to warrant the extra recoil.

I use a ported Tru-Glo #TG152 in mine.

Heres and update on what I've done so far . I added a Limbsaver slip on recoil pad and installed a Marbles green fiber optic bead. It patterns  better than I expected with the original X full choke tube but I just had to try a Comp-N-Choke . I went with a XXX Full and it worked great with 3 1/2" Winchester 2 1/4 oz. #6 loads.
I can't to try it this week for turkey  ;D, . Thanks for all the advice. TF
