looking for sugestions

I have a 2" S&W m60 that I've owned for years that I plan to start using as a ccw.  I have the original minuscule wood grips which are too small and difficult to hold onto and a set of rubber Pachmier (sp?) grips that make it very shootable but IMO are too bulky and make the gun dificult to carry concealed.

Any suggestions on a brand/model of grips that will afford a good purchase on the gun but still allow decent concealability without breaking the bank?

I had the same problem on my M38 but decided to stick with the Pachmyers.  I tried a couple of other types but they either didn't fit my hand right or I couldn't get a proper grip on them.  But I have also found that even with the added grip size concealability is not an issue.  The most important issue for me is being able to get a proper grip on my ccw so that I know my front sight will come to center focus in my field of vision, not off to the right or left and the added size of the Pachmyers do that just right for me. 

As to mode of carry - it will vary, of course but a ccw should be immediately available and being buried under layers of clothing, sweaters, carried in a ankle holster, floating around in the bottom of a purse or completely covered by a pocket or the like doesn't lend well to immediate availability. A couple good options that keep the revolver tiny while making it easier to hang on to:  Add a Tyler T-Grip (google it) to the current stocks.  Or get wood boot grips available from many makers (including from S&W).

For J-Frames I generally get wood boot grips then thin them down a bunch to fit my hand.  They fill in front of the grip frame preventing that strange trigger finger angle S&W seems to think is the right way to make frames.

Check out the Bantam grip by Hogue.  I have them on my M60 and they're just right.

My M60 is the 3" .357 Magnum version with adjustable sights. I use CTC Laser grips on it and wouldn't trade them for anything else.

Any suggestions on a brand/model of grips that will afford a good purchase on the gun but still allow decent concealability without breaking the bank?  I agree on the Tyler T grip added to the standard factory grips.....or the Hogues if the budget will allow......just pick a stock.style and pratice draw and point......and hold the EMPTY gun when you are watching the tube or similar and let your hand muscles get to adapt to the feel and after a while you will adapt to the new combo and at the range you can see if you need to change your aim focus due to the new grip and hand position and modify your hold if necessary......untill it becomes second nature.......good luck and good shooting....hopefully only for fun!

Thanks everyone.  I think I will give the Hogue Bantum grips a shot.  I can get them through The Sportsman's Guide for under $15 so I am not out much if it turns out that I don't like them.  The CT laser grips are out of my budget at least for now and the Tyler T-grips cost more than many of the rubber grips on the market.
