Omega X7 Purchase

I am looking at the Omega X7 which is a custom run, short (24") barrel version of the TC Omega. I hunt exclusively here in North Florida so long ranges are not an issue. Almost all of my kills/shots have been inside 100 yds. with most inside 50 yds.
Anyone shoot one of these guns ? If so what load works for you ? I'm thinking of starting with 100g of 777 pellets and a 250g TC Shockwave. Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought one last year. I love it. Mine has a real tight bore, so I had to use crush rib sabots. The 250 shockwaves shot pretty good. Im using 70 grains BH209 & 200 grain SST in the blue MMP 50/40 sabot. That combo gives me a honest 1 inch group. The X7 is the handyest gun Ive ever hunted with.

I was wondering what the difference between the X5, X7, and the regular Omega.

I like carbine size rifles.  I kept a T/C Hawken Flintlock Carbine with me in the blind or tree stand when using my Black Diamond.  I liked having a quick second shot!

I have an Omega X7 that shoots very good with 100 grns. of triple 7, triple 7 209 primers, and 250 grn. shockwave. The peep sight on the gun is very easy to get on target with. I have the gun sighted in at 50 yds. I hope this helps you out ! :)

I shoot 110gr 777 and 200 SW for deer and 120gr 777 and 300 bonded SW for elk.
