22 inch 20 gauge with screw in chokes?
« on: December 01, 2008, 06:39:58 AM »
I noticed on the NEF site the SB1 - 25C, which is a 20 gauge with screw in chokes on a 22 inch barrel.  My question is;  Can you have just the barrel fitted to your existing SB1 or SB2 frame and what is the cost?

You bet, that would be the best of it all.  Short, Handi, Lite and Versatile.  Go for it, you won't be sorry.

Frogunter had one that he had fitted when we hunted rabbits last year. I've had a hankering for one ever since.

Anyone know if you can have one fitted.  I don't want to buy the whole shotgun just the 22" screw choke barrel but cannot find it in the Accessory barrel site.  Just the longer one.  Also the price.

Marcus - was frogunter's barrel the 22" screw choke one?

It was a 22" that he had fitted. It's not on the accesory barrel list but they fitted it if I remember right

Just be glad you still have rabbits.  In Louisiana now you can only find them in neighborhoods.  The coyotes have just cleaned them out of all the places I hunt.  Haven't even seen one in about a year.

They make a very poor stew though I'm told.  BTW Markus if you find the part number for that 22" screw choke 20 gauge barrel please let me know.  Three different ladies from H&R have told me they only exist on the whole gun and I cannot get a fitted one for my existing frame.
