« on: December 03, 2008, 03:25:45 PM »
There are alot of post on these three tools. This is how i made mine. The worm i used a hoe handle, a 3" washer ,1/8" round stock,  2" od pipe, and a 6" paint roller with 3"nap and a sock instock a shovel handle with a hole in it and cotton rope. The rammer is a hoe handle with a chair leg on the end. 1. Put the washer on the metal end of the handle and cut excess metal off next take 1/8" rod heat with torch and wrap around pipe and let cool and cut to lenth weld coil to washer put washer on handle and weld it to metal cut other end of handle off (opional) put roller on handle should be tight fit put sock over it and wrap cord around the sock i used glue to hold my cord in place. The rammer i found table leg and cut it drilled a hole in the handle and the head and put a dowel pin in it and glued it together with  wood glue and wood filler. I hope the picture comes up this is the first time i hav tried it.

Really neatly done. Inspirational. Very nice set of tools. If anyone is interested in a preformed worm for a golf ball; a ground stake for a dog tether works fine for me.
