Remington Genesis Muzzleloaders
« on: December 03, 2008, 04:40:56 PM »
Can anyone tell me if the Genesis will shoot very accurately? Thinking of buying one for my son for Christmas and would like to hear some feedback on them.
Thanks
David

I have one and I can tell you its a shooter. I use saboted round balls and can stay in the black 2 out of 3 with it @100 yds. ;)

Very accurate, if that's the determining factor for your purchase, go forth and get one, your son will enjoy it :)

bought one two weeks ago i havent shot it yet bought it from cabelas was $144.00 had a 20 dollar coupon off a $150 purchase so that knocks it down to about 125 and remington has a 35 dollar rebate so thats 90 plus 15 for shipping i figured that i couldnt beat that 105 bucks i spent 25 for the mounts and rings

if your going to get one i suggest you do it before the end of the month when the rebate ends

Just got one from Cabelas for my youngest son for Christmas. We will be using it Dec 27-30 for our late season muzzleloader. So shhh, don't let him know. Hope it shoots as good as it looks!
