Ahhh...but for more time & especially more money :(

Idaho has as much or more woods as any state in the lower 48 does. Yes?

What kind of costs does Idaho have for out of state hunters?  Larry

Larry,

Thanks for writing. Here is the information that you are looking for.

The main reason that we have the Championship during January, because Idaho has a non-game license that is good from January 1 to August 31, here is a list of Idaho License options. We try to make it so that people can hunt without it costing an arm and a leg for licenses, which allows more people to attend the hunt.

We have 3 options to choose from:

1. Non Resident Yearly Hunting License is $141.50

2. Small Game Hunting (Not valid for the first 5 days of the pheasant season. Valid for upland & migratory game birds, turkeys, cottontail, snowshoe hare, huntable furbearers and unprotected and predatory birds and animals) $81.75

3. Nongame Hunting (valid from January 1 to August 31) $29.25

I think you can purchase these online at:
http://fishandgame.idaho.gov

You can also read the Regulation online also.

Thank You for writing.

If you are getting as much snow there as we are here then I hope the Coyotes have snow shoes.  Larry

Hey Larry,

We had snow in the valley, but it warmed up and melted the snow, the hills still have some. Even Bogus Basin Ski Resort above Boise lost some snow to the rain.

We will see, there is a new storm on it's way Sunday night/Monday Morning. I hope that there is no new snow before the Championship.

Where are you located?

I saw on the News that your area has gotten hit hard. How much snow do you have. Or is it mostly ice?

This new storm is coming from the West Coast, has it hit there yet?

I hope it is rain, we are driving 3 1/2 hours to Burns Oregon. The GSPHA Admin is going to attend the JMK Ranch Calling Contest. We are going to represent the GSPHA Club at the Weigh-In tomorrow. I hate to drive in the snow on the roads.
