Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40
« on: December 07, 2008, 04:42:12 PM »
Put a Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 on my .223 ultra, and got a Bushnell Scout 1000 Laser Range Finder to go along with it, should be fun for longer range shooting. tell me what you all think.

I've heard nothing but great reviews on the 10 X 40s. I really like the Mil-Dots and the target knobs. Best of all, they can be had for $189.00, maybe even cheaper if you shop around. According to many of the reviews I've read on them, lots of people (for example Law Enforcement shooters) buy them as a low priced, excellent quality solution for tactical purposes.

I have one too. Mine is on a T/C  221 FB right now. I like it so much I am going to get another one. I will find a use for it. I have a Bushnell Banner straight 10X on my 223 Ultra Handi. It is an old one, 25 years or more made in Jap pan. Look at my Avatar, it is the Ultra with the 10X Bushnell on it. ;)

I got out and played with my scope, WOW just wow. this thing is soooo cool. i made up some drop charts and sighted the gun at 100 yards. I have 3 steel targets there one foot square. so i put one at 300 yards one at 400 and one at 600. turn the nob for the right moa and ding, one shot. at 300, i repeated this for every target. on the 600 yard target i took 5 shots and hit it all 5 times. then back to 100 and its dead on. i am very happy with the results i will deffentaly be getting another one of these scopes.

My friend has one on a 243 and he just shot to 1000 yards with success today, the tracking is dead on.

If you use some heavier bullets you could probably get out to 1k, but I doubt the scope has 55 moa of "up" from a 100 yard zero.
