Think CVA will offer an Accura Elite?
« on: December 08, 2008, 11:48:49 AM »
I like my Optima Elite, but I have to say, after handling a new Accura this weekend, I was impressed. The trigger on the one I handled was probably the lightest trigger I have ever seen on a production rifle. Very clean breaking as well. I really liked that gun, but I wonder if CVA will offer an Elite version like they did with the Optima? If they ever do, I will be buying one quickly. I probably won't sell my OE, but the Accura was very nice. Felt lighter, nicer trigger, shorter hammer throw, stock actually fit me a little better, if they make a switch barrel, I won't be able to resist. Just wondered if anybody else might think they should offer one as well. Thanks, Billy

i am thinking they will. The older models like the kodiak seem to be fazing out.

On another note, from what I've seen the Optima Elite combo runs around $500-550 for ss.camo. What do you think a Accura Elite combo would run?

I only used the term Accura Elite, because that was the eventual evolution of the Optima series(Optima-Optima Pro-Optima Elite), I was just hoping they would make a centerfire rifle on the Accura frame, and the Accura Elite name just followed suit from OE. I doubt they would name it the Accura Elite, but a centerfire rifle combo on the Accura frame is one I would purchase. Thanks, Billy
