Carson binoculars

Anyone have experience with Carson binoculars?
I saw an add for a set in the PA Game Digest...
Compact (9.9 oz), and powerful (10-40x) and cheap ($130).

Seems too good to be true - wondering if they are worth a salt.

I've never heard of these Binos.  As such, I would recommend spending a bit more money on Binos that are well respected and have a well-known warranty.
