Addictive Guns!!
« on: December 12, 2008, 08:21:46 AM »
Wow, I just shot that AR-15 CMMG that I posted about earlier.  Man that thing is fun to shoot!  I can now see how you guy's got all googley about these things!  But I can't believe how it eats ammo.  I can tell that if I buy this thing I'm going to have to become more proficient at reloading and am also going to have to find a good supply of cheap bullets in bulk... Ahhhh, my wife is going to kill me, again...

Yup!!!  That's all it took was to touch the darn thing.  Same thing happened to me.  At first, I didn't really like the AR's.  Then I handled and shot a couple.  Now I love them!  They shoot accurate and are extremely reliable.

I now have a bushmaster varminter and a AP4 in .308 on order.  I already have quite a few different variations that I want to get too!  These things are addictive.  I still love my bolt guns, but these ar's are my 2nd favorite.

My upcoming AR's...(when the funds are available.  I just found out my wife and I are expecting)
.243 WSSM
.223 w/16" barrel (carbine)
.458 SOCOM
one in a 7.62x39 (ammo is cheaper than .223!)
Target style .260 in AR-10 platform

Welcome, you have an early symptom of ar15itis.

You may like myself develope other illnesses
1911itis
mil/surposis
dan wessonemia
10-22alaria
and so forth.

Not to worry, as these are not deadly illnesses (unless your wife does actually kill you) ;D
And can usually be kept in check by regular exposure to burnt gunpowder.

I can feel the 10-22alaria setting in.  I'm already looking for cheap guns or bare receivers to start 10-22 builds on.  It's never ending!!! ;D

just make sure you keep them confined to a secure area. no need to infect your wife. just be careful - like any other virus they tend to multiply on their own. ;D
