H-S Precision and the Ruby Ridge sniper endoresment
« on: December 12, 2008, 04:26:39 PM »
Has this topic been discussed on this forum?  I did a search and could not find any reference to the issue.

It seems that Lon Horiuchi, the sniper that killed the members of the Randy Weaver family in the Ruby Ridge incident has advanced in the ranks of the FBI to be a Program Manager of some sorts.  He endorsed the H-S Precision rifles adopted by the FBI snipers and H-S Precision actually used his endorsement on the back cover of their latest catalog.

H-S makes good products but I find the use of this endorsement to be most offensive.  To quote some others, "That's like Benchmade
Knives using Jeffery Dahmer to endorse their cutlery." As Tamara on
http://booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com said: "What's next from HS
Precision? A John Lee Malvo Signature Edition AR-15 stock?"
You should have said something; I didn't know I had struck a nerve.
