Bh-209 to Pyro loads

What would the equivalent load be between the two?  If Im shooting 100g of Pyro, would 100g of BH yield the same results?  Or does Bh burn hotter where only 90g BH = 100g pyro???

BH209 will give much higher velocities than Pyrodex for equal VOLUME charges. If you want to duplicate the exact velocity of a 100 gr VOLUME charge of Pyrodex, you will need somewhere in the neighborhood of 85 grains VOLUME Blackhorn 209. Just reduce your BH209 VOLUME charges by 15% as compared to your Pyrodex VOLUME charges and you should be very close.
