When I had my 30-06 Encore barrel, I was using 50 gr. of IMR 4064 powder under a 150 gr. Nosler BT, and it was great on deer.

You will have to find what works best in your barrel, because what worked great for me may not work as well in your barrel.

For full power loads I sent my 15" Encore barrel to www.probed2000.com for installation of a muzzle brake .While I was in Pennsylvania I bought a box of Remington 30-06 125 gr Core-Lokt PSP Managed Recoil ammo for sighting in my encore.I use 58gr of IMR 4831 with 165gr Nosler BT's & 55gr of H-4831SC with 150gr Nosler BT's.I purchased a TC Sling Swivel Kit for my Encore pistol which helps steady it for off hand shots but TC discontinued making that part.
