I was trying out some new handloads today. 375 rounds (100 @ 4.6 and 275 @ 4.9 gr 231) 230 lead rn, 4.6 or 4.9 gr 231, 1.257 OAL, .470 crimp. What can I say? I bought mine about a month ago. I've fired almost 1000 round through it. Not even 1 malfunction!!! The 4.6gr loads didn't differ in any way from the 4.9 loads, so I'll shoot the 4.6 loads. It performed right out of the box flawlessly.
It has a great trigger, excellent balance and feel, and is super accurate for an out of the box $550 out the door pistol. Plus, I have NO leading problems.
The sights are also dead on, though I wish they were adjustable. The Taurus proprietary sights are nice, but there are VERY few aftermarket choices.
