been doing it since 89. Its good if you have access somewhere.

I know a lot of spoiled hunters becasue of westchester. Too many backyard jockies dumping corn and shooting monster deer. You take your lack of hunting pressure, remove habitat, add good genetics and some corn and you have the makeing of a skill free canned hunt.

Point in case a cousin of a friend shot a 120 class 8pt 1st week of Dec during 2nd rut. This guy missed and wounded 7 deer (small bucks an does). He gut sot the 8 pointer and lost it. It was found by my friend who is a better tracker. The guy believes he is a hunting god becasue he shot the biggest buck of the group, but he did so in poor fashion, over feed.

yes I figure there was a lot of feeding this year due to the lack of deer sightings

That's funny - I always thought baiting deer in Westchester County was the same as the rest of the state - Illegal and, therefore, immoral.

Why does it sound common place in Westchester?

Problem is without habitat to hunt, people do things to keep the odds in their favor.

Westchester deer are pretty stupid as deer go. I have seen deer that behave in a semi-tamed fashion unlike anywhere I have ever hunted. Feeding makes it even easier I guess.
