:grin: Shot my new .45-410 Encore this weekend.
Why do I not remember this barrel being this much fun when I had it in a Contender? And to think, I haven't even hunted with it yet!
I didn't get a chance to pattern it seriously, because I ended up helping to supervise four neophyte shooters at a small private shooting range. Basically, all I got to do was plink at a few bowling pins. The newbies all got to shoot a Colt Python, a Colt Detective, an S&W 66 and a Sigma ... and I eventually gave each of them a crack at a pin with the Encore.
Everyone who shot the Encore got a case of the goofy grins. Even the more experienced shooter who was there with me. I kid you not.
