SCI shotgun
« on: December 16, 2008, 09:03:27 AM »
A friend of mine just inherited a "SCI" double barrell shotgun, it was made in Spain.  Does anyone here have any knowledge of the SCI or can anyone help us find out any info on the value of the gun.

It has blued barrells with, nickel (I guess) on the frame with some pretty neat looking inlays.  Any info at all would be greatly appreciated

After alittle more looking around...It  has "Armas Erbi S.C.I." along with Elgoibar engraved in it.  I have been able to find out that Elgoibar is the name of the town in Spain where it was made.

I read somewhere that they were imported to the US back in the 70's by Doublewing, and were just a low end shotgun, but they shoot pretty well. Any more info would be appreciated

The only SCI I know of is the Safari Club International. Perhaps it was a prize at an SCI function.
