Any one ever make a 5.56X39 Rus barrel for the Handi?

Probably not since the only available ammo is the mil surp and mil grade stuff on the market now .. I believe H&R does not recommend using steel case ammo though i have had good results from a rossi 7.62x39 single shot with it and no failures due to steel laquered cases .. But again i dont think anyone has tried the 5.45x39 yet

And isn't the 5.45X39 21 caliber? That would make for a very hard to find barrel to start with.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

5.56x39 uses a .443" diameter case like a 7.62x39.   

5.45x39 uses the same .224 bullet, but it has a smaller .394" diameter case

Either one could be cut from a Hornet barrel.
