Anti's at work in Hollywood
« on: August 18, 2003, 04:57:01 AM »
I am posting this on all the boards I visit so as many as possible can be aware: the movie “Hunted” starring Tommy Lee Jones is a blatant attack on trappers and hunters.  Trappers and hunters are portrayed in the worse possible light and then associated with blood thirsty killing sponsored by the government.  This movie is CLEARLY an out right attempt to turn the public against us.  :x

I suppose the best approach is to see it and be prepared to counter its impact but this means giving the bums money.

I am not aware of a posting on this movie ...if I missed it please excuse me.

I was sick in bed all day yesterday, so my wife picked up a few movies for me to watch. One was the Hunted.  The movie opens up with some white dog looking animal, that is maybe supposed to be a wolf, caught by the front leg with a snare.  The whole lower leg was covered in blood.  Our super hero then walks up to it and lets it loose.  And proceeds to the bar (where else) where the trappers hang out, finds the owner woops on him and announces that there will be no more snares in his woods.
By the way this was in B.C. and I am only assuming that snares are legal.
I'm no expert on snares, but I did get a coyote by the leg with one last year, when I got to him he was no worse for the wear.  Other than a crease in his skin that I discoverd in the fur shed, he had absolutely no leg damage.
