Pentax has a ballistic type cross hair with a couple of smaller lines under the cross hair.  I don't know if this is the pp or not.  Looks kind of like a submarine cross hair on the bottom.    Pentax competes well in the price range it's in.  Cosmetically the eye piece is large.  They have a lifetime warranty which is really a $20 replacement.

The image is clear, field of view could be better.

As far as a rating, well, I'd spend in the $150 to $200 range and pick from a Nikon Prostaff, Burris Fullfield II, Leupold VX-1 or Bushnell 3200.......

I bought both a 4x and a 6x fixed power about a year or so ago. I really like both of them. I bought a Nikon and wasnt all that satisfied. Generally I only buy Leupold VXII's.

For the money spent, I was more than satisfied in what I got and how well they work.

I had a pair of Pentax binocs that were excellent.  I gave them to my son a few years ago.  They were the older poro prism style and were very clear.  Never tried their scopes.  I just stay with Leupold scopes.

The light seeker is suppose to be really good. The game seeker is their bottom of the line which is suppose to be ok. From what I understand those 2 models are made by different companies.

I think the lightseeker is actually made by burris with pentax glass and the gameseeker is made in china.
