Just wondering. Might be the thing for elk and larger game, but a little over kill for whitetails.
I hope its not another "magnum" magic thingy to take deer at 300 yards.

Yeah, good luck finding suitable components for a .52. Get yourself a .50.

If you want a bigger bore, there is a small but acceptable selection of .54 components out there.
You only need a .50 for 300yds on deer anyways. Heck, take that back, the 200SW is saboted for the .45 too so that's all you need.

I'm pretty happy with the 50cal. Too many options to make me bored. I was wondering if any real hunter used them. I haven't seen a 52 cal item in any of the stores I've been to in the last month. And we are talking three states!
Had a Renagade in 54cal. Great plains Bullets are ALLOT of lead in 54cal! Don't remember too many whitetails or black bears going very far after getting hit by one.
What was the CEO of CVA smoking when they thought about the ELECTRA?
As taking shots at deer out to 300 yards, I won't with a muzzleloader. I can't see that far in my area. 175-200 is the longest I've seen a decent shot present its self in my area. Just haven't been luckly enough for a deer to hang around at the 300 yard sight in track or me have a bench and rest ready to shoot off while hunting.
