Seems we have one ex CO here, good to know you sir.
I walk a lot, and one day I was walking down a road in sub zero temperatures with my eyelashes, and hood pretty well frosted up. Next day at work a friend who had passed me was giving me a hard time about walking in such weather. He said "you looked like Chief Tallwalker" or something all frosted up like that. I liked the name and so used it here. I use radio call signs from long ago, and far away for passwords........

In the seven years we have been going to our hunting camp in the northern zone of New York, I'm the only one that has killed a buck and both have been spikehorns. we only go up two weekends, first for early muzzle loader and then usualy two weeks later for riffle.

my name is Cal and in college when i imbibed a bit too much i got a bit hard headed, so bb king's(from 15 miles up the road from where i grew up) 'Caldonia' became my nickname and it stuck, but was shortened to 'donia' by my closest friends - 'caldonia, caldonia, what makes yo big head so hard?' (i'm 6'3" and 275lbs so i naturally have a big head, too)

Back in 2000 I bought an old Ford  86 f-250 with a 6.9l diesel in it. I was looking for some information on it (don't recall specifically what), and found a Ford diesel pickup forum on the net. After browsing the forum for a bit, I found that many of the users on there were modifying there trucks for mud bogging power pulling and such. There's nothing wrong with that, but I used that truck (and every one before and since) to haul tools, building materials, firewood, etc. I figured since my truck was a work truck, not a weekend toy, I would use Workin Man. It was the first forum I joined and I've used it for everything since.

i was a weapons repairman in the navy back in the early 70's, aviation ordnanceman for those out there who know what i'm talking about. worked on small arms up to 20mm vulcan, [gatling guns], any way on select fire weapons you have a selector lever that selects  simi- or full auto. that selector lever moves a searlock that locks the sear in the trigger assembly. i chose that name because you seldom if ever hear of it.

Mine is my last name is McDonald and my nickname is McDuck.  when I signed up for AOL I did not want to be McDuck542 or what ever and at the time i was hunting woodducks in NC so McWoodduck was available on AOL.  Good thing I was not hunting pintails that day. ;D
Mcpintail... Sounds wrong.

Altlaw.  I thought the Alt was the latin for above and being a lawyer and a biker I thought you considered yourself above the law and thought it was a really clever play on outlaw.

Well heck McWoodrow, I hadn't thought of that,  :-\  but if it appears to be a clever play on words, I should have!   ;D  So, from now on that's what I really had intended all along!   8)  Yah, that's the ticket!   :D  Much better then my original story...  :P

And uh, um, er... did I detect a bit of predjudice here?   Is it lawyers or bikers that you think consider themselves aboue the law?   ???

 ;) ;D

Well since I was a Poly Science major at college and I took lots of law classes I realized that you need to know the rules to figure ways around the rules.   There is the letter of the law and the intent of the law.  I know there are ways around the letter of the law. Something I practice everyday to this day.
But no pregudice either way. 8)

Xhare--read it as cross hare.  It has a double meaning, the cross hair in a scope, and the angry rabbit I am aiming at.

Wrongpaw.....True Blue Left Hander.  Shoot, Fish, Bowl,
play baseball, even tried golf(didnt like it) left handed.
I did manage to trade those little used golf clubs for
a left handed Lyman Flintlock rifle.

Like him or not, the Skunk is one of the most powerful creatures in the forest. Skunks don't even need camouflage. In fact, they are boldly colored in order to advertise their presence to potential predators. Skunks are never in a hurry because they don't have to be. They must feel that life is too precious and short to rush through. Skunks are very solitary, adaptable, and independent. Whether they have only a single dumpster or perhaps a 200 acre range, they can make it work for their survival.

Besides that, any creature, human or animal, that can spray from their anal glands a deeply penetrating, foul-smelling, hideous odor, that can even cause temporary blindness and nausea, and is so wickedly stinky that not even the Skunk himself can stand it, has got to be OK in my book. ;) I've always been a top rate Skunk in those terms. :D

redboot is a squeaky dog toy that is always in the floor.  i walk by and step on it and here the dog comes running.  I am a retired deputy sheriff investigator and my call number was 612.  I put redboot and 612 together and redboot612 is my handle.

I came up with mine because I used to breed snakes. I specialized in big snakes. Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons, Green Anacondas, and Yellow Anacondas. I also bred corn snakes, bearded dragons, and leopard geckos. Just to have I had a gaboon viper, rhino viper, and albino cobra.
